Octoplus FRP Tool v.1.3.9 is out!

Octoplus FRP Tool v.1.3.9 Release Notes:

Released general "Spreadtrum Custom" method for "Reset FRP" operation for devices based on Spreadtrum CPUs.

• This method allows you to perform/test "Reset FRP" operation for Spreadtrum CPUs-based devices which are not present in the software list. To perform the operation just choose "Device vendor: General Reset FRP Methods", then choose "Device model: Spreadtrum Custom", connect the device to PC (if necessary install Spreadtrum driver from the official Octoplus Box site or from the Support Area) and press "Reset FRP" button. Then you need to choose "*.PAC" firmware for your device model ("*.PAC" firmwares contain necessary loaders for device connection) and continue "Reset FRP" operation. If you don’t have proper "*.PAC" firmware exactly for your device model, try choosing "*.PAC" firmware for other device models based on the same Spreadtrum CPU, and try using loaders from these firmwares.

Released "Upgrade Mode" option for "Write Firmware" operation ("Write Firmware" tab in Software) for writing an original (offline) "UPDATE.APP" firmwares from Upgrade Mode for Qualcomm and HiSilicon CPUs-based devices.
Important: all partitions of the firmware are written to the phone in this mode.
To enable "Upgrade Mode" do the following:

1. Power off the phone. Remove SD and SIM cards (this is important).
2. Press and hold 'Vol-' and 'Vol+' keys and insert USB cable.
3. Wait until phone enters the 'Upgrade Mode'.

Support area will be filled with firmware files gradually.

Released multi-language Software interface. Added Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Russian languages. You can select the necessary interface language at "Welcome" tab of Software.
If you can help us with translating to your language, please inform us and we will send to you all the data necessary for translation.

Some interface changes, adjustments and improvements were made.

Octoplus PRO JTAG Software v.1.7.0 Release Notes:

Added possibility to work with MediaTek CPU-based devices via USB: Write Firmware using scatter ("MTK Factory Repair"), Read/Write/Erase Full Flash/Custom Flash operations are supported.​

To connect MediaTek CPU-based device you need to do the following steps: select "USB" interface option in the Software, select "Brand: Custom Settings", select "Device (Core): MTK Custom" and press "Connect" button.
Then select proper DA file, preloader and AUTH file (if necessary), and press "Continue" button. After successful connection supported operations will be available.

Octoplus/Octopus Box LG Software v.2.9.1 Release Notes:
Released custom flashing possibility for MTK and Qualcomm CPU-based devices (supported "*.dz", "*.kdz", "*.oct" firmwares with LAF partition). From now on, you can select firmware file, select (mark) partitions that you want to write, and write only these selected partitions! Also, added possibility to skip formatting Userdata before flashing firmware.

The sequence of writing firmware:

1. Select firmware file.
2. Press "Write firmware" button.
3. Connect the device (put it into Download Mode) according to Software instructions (prompts).
4. In the appearing window select (mark) necessary partitions that you want to write, and press "Write" button.
5. Skip or allow formatting Userdata and continue the operation.

Octoplus / Octopus Box Samsung Software v.2.7.7 Release Notes:

Added Factory Unlock (via server) for Sprint Galaxy Note 9.
Added Factory Unlock (via server) for AT&T Galaxy Note 9 (requesting to enter unlock code for unlocking when insert unsupported SIM card).

Added "Read Codes" (via server) for SM-J327A.
Improved "Read Codes" operation (added support for the latest security type) for SM-J400F, SM-J400G, SM-J400GD, SM-J400M.

To unlock Sprint Galaxy Note 9 it is necessary to perform the following steps:

1. Download and write into the phone proper binary Combination Modem firmware from the Support Area ("SAMSUNG/COMBINATION" folder) or write Modem part from proper Combination firmware.
2. Perform Factory data reset.
3. Perform "Unlock"->"Sprint Unlock" operation.

To unlock AT&T Galaxy Note 9 (requesting to enter unlock code), just connect the device and perform "Unlock"->"AT&T Factory Unlock" operation:

Many new Samsung Combination firmwares were uploaded into the Support Area.
All supported operations described in details in the manual ("Cable & Manual" button in the software).​

Note: please always use the latest Software version! Not actual Software version may not support the latest device security type and "Read Codes" or "Unlock" operation may be not successful!

Also note: before performing "Read Codes" operation via server it is highly recommended to perform Hard/Factory reset operation! In the opposite case, codes may be not read (not found)!
