Don’t forget, that device should have non-damaged CID partition, otherwise it could cause problems with writing firmware after repairing. We recommend making backup of CID partition before repairing. Octoplus FRP Tool v.1.3.1 is out! Qualcomm EDL Autodetect Method added and more!

Octoplus FRP Tool v.1.3.1 Release Notes:

Released two general Reset FRP methods for devices based on Qualcomm CPUs:

1. Qualcomm EDL Autodetect Method - by using this method Software will automatically detect your device's CPU, then it will select proper Qualcomm USB loader in Software Loaders’ Data Base (if the necessary loader is present in it) and will try to connect the device and automatically reset FRP. You should put the device into «Qualcomm…9008» Mode to use this method.
   More than 200 unique Qualcomm USB loaders for different Qualcomm CPUs and vendor devices were added to Software Loaders’ Data Base! Also we will add new unique USB loaders to Data Base in the future Software updates.
   
   
2. Qualcomm EDL Custom Method - this method allows you to select external Qualcomm USB loader ("*.mbn", "*.bin", "*.elf") to connect the device via USB and reset FRP. This feature will be useful if Qualcomm USB loaders in Software Loaders’ Data Base are not compatible with your device or necessary loader is not included in the data base.
   
   If you have new Qualcomm USB loaders - send them to us and we will add them to Software Loaders’ Data Base.

Released USB "Auto Detect" method for Qualcomm CPUs-based devices. By using this method Software will automatically detect your device's CPU, then it will select proper Qualcomm USB loader in Software Loaders’ Data Base (if the necessary loader is present in it) and will try to connect the device. Note: the "Read Codes" (via server) operation for all the above mentioned devices works for most available devices` firmwares (modems). If your device has an unsupported modem, just write another available firmware or properly supported modem. Or wait a few hours and try to repeat the operation again - support for unsupported modem firmware will be added to a server automatically during a few hours.


Added new additional “Read Codes” method for SM-G950x and SM-G955x. From now two “Read Codes” methods are supported – “Read Codes (Via DIAG PORT)” and “Read Codes (Via ADB interface)”. If “Read Codes” operation was unsuccessful by one method, try to perform another “Read Codes” operation using the other method.

Note: Read Codes (via server) operation for all mentioned above devices works for most available device firmwares (modems). If your device has unsupported modem, just write another available firmware or proper supported modem. Or wait a few hours and try to repeat the operation again - support for unsupported modem firmware will be added to server automatically during a few hours.

Added new additional Read Codes method for SM-G950x and SM-G955x, based on Qualcomm CPUs. From now on, two Read Codes methods are supported - Read Codes (Via DIAG port) and Read Codes (Via ADB interface). If Read Codes operation was unsuccessful by using the first method, try to perform it using the second Read Codes method.
